About StreetCite
A community log of road safety incidents — not a court or police system.
Anyone can submit a report with photos or video. The community votes to surface credible reports. We auto-tag relevant traffic statutes so reports carry useful context.
How it works
Capture it
Snap a photo or video. Up to 8 files, 50 MB each — they upload straight from your device.
We tag the law
Pick the violation and state. We attach the matching statute with a reference link.
Community review
Upvote, downvote, comment, or flag. Strong reports rise; weak ones get hidden.
Escalate when needed
For serious cases, build a prefilled tip email to the right agency — you choose whether to send it.
Ground rules
- Don't post content that identifies bystanders or non-involved people.
- Don't publish home addresses or personal information beyond what's visible in public traffic.
- Don't post threats or calls for harassment.
- Call 911 for emergencies — don't wait to post.
Limits
Reports are user-submitted and unverified. An upvoted report is not a conviction. Courts and police decide what's illegal; we collect evidence the community thinks is worth sharing.
